ACCESS CONTROL

An access control system will allow you to secure, protect and monitor your property. It will enable the property owner to identify and communicate with a visitor and thereby prevent, limit, or grant access. All properties have main points of entry. When a visitor arrives at one of these points, they typically look for a way to notify the occupants of their presence. It is at these main entrances where Advanced Technologies will install intercom call boxes. When the visitor presses the call button on the intercom box the telephones inside the property will ring in a distinctive manner. Once the phone call is answered, the property owner may communicate with the visitor over the intercom call box and allow access by simply pressing a number on the telephone keypad to open the secured area. The access control system can be stationed at multiple pedestrian and vehicular points of entry. An additional security option to the intercom would be to install a camera allowing the property owner to pre-screen the visitor, before answering the telephone. A camera can not only aid the property owner in personal identification, but also in vehicle recognition. For individuals who do not need verification to enter the property, a key-less entry keypad or reader system can also be installed.
